Homepage Options
Click Homepage Options. The work area contains sections that correspond to
different areas of the homepage layout. (To see a preview of your site at anytime,
click the site’s name at the top, left-hand corner of the dashboard.)
Before you continue, the page must be added and set up as the front page.
1. Under the navigation menu, go to Pages > Add New.
2. Enter Home as the title.

3. In the next box, select the HTML tab.
4. Type

inside the box.
5. On the right side under Page Attributes, select Home in the Template drop-down menu.
6. Click the Update button to publish the page. The page has now been added to your website.
7. Next, go to Settings > Reading on the navigation menu.
8. Select A static page. In the Front page drop-down menu, select Home.
9. Click the Save Changes button.
10. Now you can modify the homepage. Return to SaaS II Theme > Homepage Options.

 

The first two sections of the Homepage Options work area are used to modify the
main message title and content located on the top, left-hand side of the homepage
(Figure 4). Make changes to the title and content by simply modifying the text in the
Main Message Title and Main Message Content fields.
The Benefits section links to the two columns of information below the main
message (Figure 5).
To modify the Benefits section:
1. Use the following shortcode for each section:

As you enter code for each section, please note they are added from left to right on
the webpage.
2. Enter a header for the section in feature title=“ ”.

 

3. There are default icons for each section, but you may upload your own images to
the host server and enter the file path in image=“ ”.
4. Finally, enter the section’s content between the first closing bracket ( ] ) and
[/saas-feature].
The Slider Images section links to the image gallery on the right side of the
homepage (Figure 6).
To modify the Slider Images section:
1. Use the following shortcode for each image:

2. Enter a title for the image in slider-image title=“ ”.
3. Add images by uploading photos to the server and entering the file path in
image=“ ”.
